Troubleshooting

My thread didn't post

Start by checking the thread's status. Most "it didn't post" cases are a failed thread you can retry, a held thread waiting on a reconnect, or a rate-limit cooldown that clears on its own.

Quick answer

Open the dashboard and look at the thread's status. Failed means you can fix it and reschedule (see the Failed filter). If your account is disconnected, the thread is held until you reconnect. If X or LinkedIn is rate-limiting you, the thread retries automatically once the cooldown lifts.

Check the status

Every thread has a status:

To see only failed threads, open Dashboard, go to the threads list, and choose the Failed filter.

If the thread failed

Feedjot emails you when a thread fails, and the thread carries the reason. Open it, read the error, fix what it points to, then click Schedule to try again. Common causes:

If your account is disconnected

When X or LinkedIn access breaks, Feedjot holds your scheduled posts instead of failing them, and asks you to reconnect. Reconnect from Settings and the held posts go out. See Reconnect an account that shows "disconnected".

If you're being rate-limited

When X or LinkedIn temporarily rate-limits your account, Feedjot shows a cooldown banner and does not fail the thread. Your queued threads post automatically once the cooldown lifts — no action needed.

If you've hit your posting limit

During the free trial you can post up to 50 individual posts (each post in a thread counts separately). On the paid plan the included volume is 100 posts per calendar month, which resets at the start of the next month. If you hit a cap, posting is paused until you subscribe (trial) or the month resets (paid). Need more sooner? Email support@feedjot.com.

You'll know it's fixed when…

The thread moves to Scheduled for its next time, and then to Posted with a link once it goes out.

Still stuck?

Email support@feedjot.com with the thread's title and the error message it shows, and what you were doing when it broke.
