Writing & posting
Turn one jot into a week of posts with JotWeek
JotWeek expands one outline into a master story, then platform articles, then a week of daily LinkedIn and X posts. You approve once and Feedjot schedules the rest.
Create a JotWeek campaign
- Open JotWeek from the top navigation.
- Click New JotWeek.
- Enter a campaign Title.
- Under Days, click 5, 7, or 10 — or type a custom number into the field next to those buttons.
- Check LinkedIn, X, or both, and choose a schedule pattern from the dropdown: Independent schedules, Alternate days, or Same calendar days.
- Set a start date and time for each platform you checked.
- Paste your notes into the Outline (source of truth — expand mode) box. This is the contract — JotWeek expands it into a story but does not invent facts or paste it back unchanged.
- Click Save draft.
Generate and review the content
- Click Generate master story to expand your outline into a full narrative.
- Review the result in the Master story box, edit anything you want to change, then click Save master.
- Click Adapt → LinkedIn or Adapt → X to turn the master story into a platform article.
- On the LinkedIn tab, Adapt → LinkedIn also drafts a short Subscriber notification blurb (the message LinkedIn offers when you notify your newsletter subscribers that the article is live); edit it, click Save article + URL, and use Copy blurb to paste it into LinkedIn.
- Click Atomize LinkedIn dailies or Atomize X dailies to break that article into individual daily posts.
- In the Dailies table, edit any post's text or first comment directly, and attach an image if you want one.
- Click Save dailies edits.
Approve and schedule
- Review every row in the Dailies table — each shows the day, platform, post text, and scheduled time.
- Click Approve & schedule in Feedjot.
The campaign appears under Your JotWeeks with a status pill per network. Each daily post shows up on your dashboard or calendar as Scheduled at the time you set.
Set your brand voice
JotWeek writes every master story, article, and daily post in your saved voice essence, so it's worth setting up before your first campaign.
- Open Settings and find the JotWeek — Voice essence card.
- Paste brand docs, past posts, or a short "how we sound" note into Brand source material, then click Distill voice.
- Edit the result in the Voice essence box — good essence includes stance, cadence, signature phrases, and things to avoid — then click Save voice essence.
Every JotWeek campaign reuses this voice automatically; you don't set it per campaign. You can jump to this card directly from the Open voice settings → link on the JotWeek page.
About AI tokens
Your plan includes a monthly AI token allotment that JotWeek draws from when it generates a master story, adapts an article, or atomizes dailies. See what's left — available, used this period, and purchased — in the AI tokens card in the campaign workspace, or the token count in the top navigation. Unused included tokens reset each billing period; purchased tokens carry over. The same card also shows which AI engine is generating your content, or that JotWeek has fallen back to offline expand mode if none is configured on the server. If you're running low, email support@feedjot.com.
