Connecting accounts
Connect your X account
Connect X from Settings so Feedjot can post on your behalf. You connect one X account per Feedjot account, and Feedjot keeps your access current for you.
Connect X
- Open Settings from the top navigation.
- Find the Your X account section.
- Click Connect X account.
- On X, review the permissions and authorize Feedjot. X returns you to Feedjot when you are done.
The Your X account section shows Connected as @yourhandle, and the button changes to Disconnect.
One X account per user
Feedjot posts to a single connected X account. To move Feedjot to a different X account, click Disconnect in the Your X account section, then click Connect X account again and authorize the account you want.
Your access refreshes automatically
Feedjot uses X's official OAuth sign-in with PKCE — it never sees or stores your X password. Feedjot refreshes your access in the background, so a normal connection keeps working without you signing in again. If the connection does break, Feedjot holds your scheduled posts (it does not fail them) and asks you to reconnect. See Reconnect an account that shows "disconnected".
Note
You need a connected X account before you can schedule or post a thread to X. If no account is connected, the editor cannot send.
